Alla Issa

Alla Issa is a multifaceted professional with experience in research, recruitment, and media production. As a researcher at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University, Alla conducted in-depth analysis of the UN Special Procedures system and contributed to a report for the United Nations General Assembly. Transitioning to recruitment roles at Angi and currently at GlossGenius, Alla focuses on building teams within the beauty and wellness industry. Previously, Alla served as a technical recruiter at Andiamo Partners, honing expertise in placing top IT talent. In the media sector, Alla held editorial leadership positions, including Editor In Chief at SURGAM Magazine and Lead Producer for the 'My Voice, Our Story' Talks Podcast. Educational credentials include two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Columbia University, one in English Language and Literature and the other in Human Rights.
