Chris Smith

Chris Smith, SE, is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in leadership roles within notable engineering firms. Currently, Chris serves as a Partner at Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers since February 2020, and as Director - California at Glotman Simpson Structural Engineers, US Inc. since June 2016. Previously, Chris held various positions including Project Director, Senior Associate, and Associate at Englekirk Structural Engineers from October 2012 to May 2016, and worked as a Structural Engineer at SPEC Services, Inc. from June 2008 to September 2011. Chris's early career began with an internship at Tetra Tech EC, Inc. from December 2006 to June 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science (M.S.) in Structural/Earthquake Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a dual Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Structural/Earthquake Engineering and Civil (Structural) Engineering from UC Irvine.
