Sam Melum

Sam Melum currently serves as a Production Supervisor and Lead Technician at Glowforge since February 2025. Prior to this role, Sam worked at Puget Sound Pipe and Supply from January 2011 to April 2019 as an NQA-1 Inspector, overseeing the shipping, handling, cleaning, and packing of "QL" level material. Key responsibilities included training new inspectors in procedures for Positive Material Identification (PMI) and Ultrasonic thickness verification, as well as ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards and industry specifications. Sam earned a diploma from the High School 21+ Program at Renton Technical College in 2016.
