John Armstrong

John Armstrong has a diverse work experience in various roles in the animation and technology industries. John currently works at Glowmade as a Visual Effects Artist. Prior to that, they were a Character and VFX Artist at WarDucks. In 2016, they worked as a Technician at the Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival, where they ensured the smooth operation of equipment and managed venue logistics. John also worked as a 3D Artist at Team Sunbear, where they were responsible for creating assets and designing environments. Additionally, they gained experience in the technology sector as a Computer Consultant at Oliver Sweeney Computer Services, where they resolved technical issues and assisted customers with their computer needs. Early in their career, they served as an Assistant Animator at Boulder Media, where they completed animation assignments and provided feedback on projects.

John Armstrong attended O'Carolan College in Nobber, Co. Meath from 2007 to 2013. John then pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Digital Animation Production from Limerick Institute of Technology, graduating in 2017. In the same year, they also completed a short course titled "Digitising home-based health care" at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), focusing on Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician.
