Jonathan Macdonald

Jonathan Macdonald has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D art and animation. Jonathan most recently worked at Glowmade as a 3D artist starting in August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director at The Magic Lantern Studios since April 2019. Before their directorial role, Jonathan worked as a freelance 3D artist starting in September 2011. Jonathan also held positions at various companies such as Fabrik Games as a Senior Character Artist from February to July 2020, and The Pond Studio as a 3D Generalist from November 2019 to January 2020. In addition, Jonathan worked as a 3D artist at Pennant International Group Plc from April to November 2019, as a Fur and Texture Artist at The Farm Group in October 2019, and as a Character Artist at Kuju Ltd. from January to April 2019. Jonathan also worked as a freelance 3D Generalist at ABF Pictures Ltd. from December 2016 to December 2018, specializing in architectural visualization and organic art for television adverts. Additionally, Jonathan gained experience as a Character Artist at EON Reality in July and June 2017. Overall, Jonathan Macdonald has a strong background and expertise in 3D art and animation, with experience in various roles within the industry.

Jonathan Macdonald attended Teesside University from 2008 to 2011, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with First-Class Honors in Computer Animation.
