Debarshi Dey

Debarshi Dey is an accomplished professional in the field of biostatistics and data science, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Biometrics at Galapagos since December 2023. Prior to this role, Debarshi held several key positions, including Vice President of Data Science and Head of Biostatistics at MorphoSys, and Senior Biostatistician at LivaNova and AB Science, contributing expertise to various therapeutic areas such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease. Debarshi has an extensive background in clinical trial management, having independently led six trials at Novartis as a Principal Biostatistician, while also engaging in data analysis and software development during tenure at Prescio Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from the University of California, Riverside, complemented by a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Calcutta.
