Gerard Scheppink

Gerard Scheppink is an experienced professional in the field of viral vector CMC, currently serving as the Associate Director at Galapagos since 2024. They previously held key roles at Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they contributed to product characterization, comparability studies, and regulatory submissions. Earlier, Gerard worked at Crucell, focusing on analytical method development for vaccines, and at uniQure as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Affairs CMC. Gerard earned both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience from the University of Utrecht.
