Laurens S.

Laurens S. is currently the Associate Director of Process Development at Galapagos, specializing in enhanced T cell therapies. With a diverse background in life sciences, Laurens's experience includes roles at Gadeta as Associate Director and Senior Scientist, and postdoctoral research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where they focused on CAR T-cell therapies. Laurens holds a Master's degree in Biopharmacy from Leiden University, where they graduated cum laude, and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Delft University of Technology. Passionate about nature's potential in innovation, Laurens has contributed to multiple interdisciplinary projects throughout their career, including vaccine design at Janssen Vaccines and significant research during their PhD at Leiden University Medical Center.
