Remko de Pril

Remko de Pril is an Associate Director at Galapagos, where they lead internal drug discovery projects focused on novel treatments for fibrosis, including scleroderma, lung, and liver fibrosis. With extensive experience in project management and assay development, they have previously managed various target discovery projects in neurodegeneration, allergy, and oncology. Remko holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Leiden University and completed a PhD at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, focusing on the ubiquitin proteasome system in Huntington Disease. Throughout their career, they have pioneered high-content screening techniques, significantly contributing to advancements in target discovery methodologies.
