Shane Hogan

Shane Hogan currently serves as the Associate Director and Program Lead at Galapagos, focusing on strategic partnerships and program management. Previously, Shane worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Specialist in Global Technical Operations, providing expertise for commercial biopharmaceutical products. At Sanofi Pasteur, Shane was the Manager and Specialist for Process and Product, contributing as a Drug Substance Subject Matter Expert. Earlier experience includes a role as a Process Scientist at Pfizer, where Shane supported drug substance operations and implemented process improvements. Shane began as an Associate Scientist at Janssen Inc., specializing in analytical methods for monoclonal antibody product development. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from University College Cork, and has experience as a research student at Technische Universität Wien.
