Sylvia Stam

Sylvia Stam is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, currently serving as Senior Director of Alliance Management at Galapagos since October 2018, where responsibilities include global alliance management in research, development, and commercial transitions and integrations. Previous roles include International Commercial Director focused on fibrosis and rare disease launch preparations, and Interim Management positions at Pharma Management Pro. Sylvia also held key management roles at Almirall, including Country Manager for the Netherlands and NORDICS, where significant achievements include building up affiliates and launching various products in the respiratory and dermatology sectors. Earlier career highlights include positions at Merck as National Sales Manager for Immunology, as well as brand management roles at E-WISE, Aventis, AstraZeneca, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and GSK. Sylvia holds a degree from the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, completed in 1992.
