Vikas Modgill

Vikas Modgill has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Regional Medical Officer at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. Vikas then worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Ranbaxy from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 onwards, Vikas joined Novartis, where they held various roles such as Pharmacovigilance Expert, Senior Pharmacovigilance Expert, Pharmacovigilance Leader, and Brand Safety Leader (Director). Their most recent role at Novartis was Global Program Safety Lead (Director) from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Vikas works at Galapagos as a Medical Safety Leader (Director) since 2020.

Vikas Modgill completed their education in a chronological manner. Vikas obtained their MBBS degree in Medicine from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana in 2003. Vikas then pursued further studies and earned an MD degree in Pharmacology from the same institution in 2008. Currently, they are studying at the University of Basel, where they are expected to graduate with a Dr. Med degree in 2023.
