Yuanyuan Lu

Yuanyuan Lu is a seasoned medical safety professional with extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and medical safety across various organizations in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Medical Safety Leader and Medical Director at Galapagos since February 2025, Yuanyuan has held significant roles at BeiGene and Galapagos, contributing to oncology projects, including CAR T therapy. Previous positions include Medical Director at Sobi and safety-related roles at Roche, Novartis, and PPD, offering expertise in clinical safety, regulatory compliance, and drug safety reporting. Yuanyuan's educational background includes an MD from Tongji University and studies in molecular microbiology and molecular medicine at the University of Nottingham and the University of Liverpool, respectively.
