Blake Barber

Chief Technology Officer at Glydways

Blake Barber is a roboticist and technology leader with extensive experience in the industry. Blake began their career as an Associate Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2007, where they developed core algorithms for the next-generation Multiple Kill Vehicle (MKV) missile defense system. In 2008, they moved to Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies as Chief Architect and Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for all elements of product development from concept generation to product strategy execution. Their efforts resulted in a successful acquisition by Lockheed Martin in 2012, and they were recognized with multiple awards including the Lockheed Martin Nova Award. In 2015, they joined Uber Advanced Technologies Group as a Roboticist, and in 2021 they joined both Glydways as Chief Technology Officer and Aurora as a Roboticist.

Blake Barber received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2005 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2007.
