Patrick Gonon

Patrick Gonon is a seasoned professional in the payments and compliance sector, currently serving as the Head of Payments Security and Compliance at GM Sectec since September 2020, where leadership in compliance and risk practices is provided to various stakeholders including issuers and regulators. As Managing Partner at It Pays Group, LLC since May 2015, Patrick facilitates digital payments evolution for companies and financial institutions. Previously, as VP/Sr. Business Leader for Emerging Payments at MasterCard, Patrick led the introduction of digital products in Latin America and the Caribbean. Early career roles include Senior Consultant at Xtrategies, Payments Strategy Consultant at Monetique, and VP of Southern Europe at Transaction Network Services. Patrick holds a BA in Economics and Urban Studies from Brown University.
