Matthew Booth

Matthew Booth is a business leader who founded Booth Ventures and The Booth Group, and currently owns GMAT and Booth Golf & Leisure. They previously served as a Project Manager at AECOM from 2001 to 2006, working on PPC and waste management applications, site and geotechnical investigations, environmental management systems, strategic planning, and site reports. Since 2007 they have led Booth Ventures as landfill and soils management specialists, quarry operators, and providers of site restoration and brownfield remediation services. They earned a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies from The University of Huddersfield (1996) and an M.Sc in Waste Management from the University of Lancashire (2002), and completed a Postgraduate LEAD at Manchester Metropolitan University (2010–2011). They are a Chartered Waste Manager with CIWM since 2007.
