David Benoit has a wealth of work experience. David began their career in 2007 as a Visiting Scholar at TU Dresden. In 2008, they were an R&D intern at Rio Tinto Alcan. From 2010 to 2014, they were a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. During this time, they worked on various theoretical and numerical issues related to the simulation of non-Newtonian fluids. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Research Engineer at Eurobios, where they worked on R&D in mathematical modeling, data science and numerical simulation with research partnerships on cable mechanics, hydrodynamics, offshore oil facilities. From 2016 to 2019, they were the CTO at Nunki.co, where they designed, developed and deployed a real-time event detection technology. Finally, since 2019 they have been a Software Engineer at Gmelius.
David Benoit obtained their Engineer's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées between 2006 and 2010. David then completed a Master of Science (MS) in Numerical Analysis and Partial Differential Equations (master ANEDP) at Pierre and Marie Curie University between 2009 and 2010. Prior to that, they attended Lycée du Parc (Lyon) from 2004 to 2006 and obtained Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles. Additionally, they have obtained two Coursera Course Certificates, an Introduction to Natural Language Processing in 2017 and a Machine Learning in 2016.
