Don Corrigan

Don Corrigan is the SVP & Creative Director at GMMB. Don has over 20 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, with a focus on copywriting and creative direction.

Don began their career as a copywriter at Earle Palmer Brown in 1989. Don then moved to Arnold Worldwide in 1998, where they served as Creative Director for 11 years. In this role, they were responsible for guiding the development of effective marketing ideas in all media, from conception to final production. Don also served as manager and mentor for creative teams, providing practical day-to-day support and long-term guidance through performance reviews.

During their time at Arnold, Don delivered strong results for the agency’s biggest account, Choice Hotels. Don helped raise Occupancy, Revenue Per Available Room and Brand Awareness for brands such as Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn and Econo Lodge. Don also led creative for the agency's longest-standing client, the BlueCross BlueShield Federal Employee Program. The marketing efforts they oversaw helped push the client's market share close to 60% and continued a 23 year run of increasing enrollment.

In 2009, Don left Arnold to pursue freelance opportunities. Don worked as a freelance copywriter and marketing professional for two years before joining Wunderman as a Title: Copywriter/Marketing Professional in 2011. Don held this position for four years before returning to GMMB in 2015.

Don Corrigan has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
