Nathan James

Nathan James is a Senior Vice President at GMMB, specializing in issue communications and advocacy, particularly in early childhood and K-12 education. With two decades of experience, Nathan has helped foundations, advocates, and public agencies craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Their career began in Democratic politics as a researcher and press secretary and includes roles such as Communications Director for Yes on 82 and Principal at 24th Avenue Consulting. Nathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University and serves on the boards of the United Way of King County and the Washington State Budget and Policy Center.
