Deborah Ng

Deborah Ng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and responsible investing, currently serving on the Global Sustainability Standards Board at the Global Reporting Initiative since April 2023. As the Head of ESG & Sustainability at GMO since May 2022, Deborah Ng plays a key role in shaping environmental, social, and governance initiatives. Additionally, Deborah has held various leadership positions at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since October 2003, including Head of Responsible Investing and Director of Total Fund Management. Deborah Ng is also actively involved with several organizations, such as the Institute for Sustainable Finance, Canadian Coalition for Good Governance, and GRESB Foundation, contributing expertise in sustainable finance and investment. Deborah's educational background includes a Master of Finance from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
