James Donaldson

James Donaldson, CFA, has accumulated extensive experience in the financial sector, primarily at GMO since 2008, where currently serving as Associate PM with a focus on developing fixed income strategies. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio duration and sector exposures, facilitating trading activities, and crafting fund commentary for clients. Previously, as an Investment Analyst at GMO, James computed performance analyses for various funds and collaborated with portfolio management teams on performance evaluation. James's early roles included internships in performance analytics and investment controls. An alumnus of Northeastern University holding a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting with a concentration in Macroeconomics, James is also a candidate for a Master's in Business Administration at Boston College. Proficient in Excel, SQL, FactSet, Python, and Bloomberg, James continues to enhance skills in the financial industry.
