Shawn Lee

Shawn Lee has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Shawn started their career at Boston University, College of Fine Arts in 2003 as a Financial Assistant & Payroll Coordinator. In 2007, they joined GMO where they worked as a Finance Associate for nine years before being promoted to Finance Manager. In 2018, they were promoted again to the position of Financial Controller. Currently, Shawn holds the position of Head of Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting at GMO.

Shawn Lee completed their education in a chronological order. Shawn started their academic journey at Boston University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Later, they pursued further education at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, earning a Master of Science degree in Accounting from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their degrees, Shawn Lee also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy in April 2013.
