Fernando Sierra

Fernando Sierra is a cybersecurity engineer currently employed at GMV since May 2023. Prior to this role, Fernando served as the SOC Coordinator at WEXLER SAS from July 2021 to April 2023. Fernando's experience includes a significant tenure at the Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares from October 2017 to October 2020, where responsibilities included managing cyber defense and cybersecurity projects and evaluating cybersecurity events impacting national critical infrastructures. Previous positions also consist of leadership roles in telecommunications coordination and maintenance with the Armada de Colombia. Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Technological Project Management from Universidad EAN and several other qualifications, including an ISO 9001:2008 Auditor certification and a degree in Systems Engineering.
