Joao Branco is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), avionics, and on-board software for space vehicles. Since September 2008, Joao has held various leadership roles at GMV, currently serving as the Space Systems Director and previously as the Head of Flight Segment and Robotics in Portugal. Prior experience includes positions as GNC Engineer and Project Manager at ELV, GNC Engineer at Deimos Engenharia, and a GNC Engineering Trainee at the European Space Agency. Joao holds a Licenciatura in Aerospace Engineering from both Instituto Superior Técnico and Delft University of Technology.
