Valerio Levi

Space Surveillance and Tracking Engineer

Valerio Levi is an accomplished aerospace engineer with significant experience in space surveillance and flight dynamics. As a Space Surveillance and Tracking Engineer at GMV, Valerio focuses on developing tools for debris mitigation compliance assessments for interplanetary return trajectories, collaborating with the European Space Agency. Previously, Valerio served as a Flight Dynamics Engineer, creating high-fidelity orbit and attitude propagator software and effectively modeling various orbital forces. Valerio also held the position of Head of the GNC Department for the PERSEUS Program at ISAE-Supaero, leading a team to define mission objectives in collaboration with the CNES. Valerio's expertise includes trajectory analysis as part of the ASTREOS 1 rocket model team. Valerio holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO.
