William Roberts has extensive experience in navigation and geospatial technologies, currently serving as the GMV UK Navigation Manager since January 2003, focusing on promoting and supporting navigation assets for the UK government and commercial sectors. Previous roles include GMV NAV UK Business Manager and PNT-UK Division Head, where William successfully integrated NSL's assets and enhanced GMV's market presence in the UK. Earlier positions include Operations Manager, supporting strategic growth for GNSS services, and Applications Manager at a specialist GNSS company. Prior to GMV, experience was gained in the offshore production industry as Manager of Technical Services at Tech 21 and as GPS Manager at Quality Engineering and Survey Technology Ltd. A research associate role was held at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, contributing to significant recommendations for offshore differential GPS. William holds a PhD in Satellite Geodesy and a BSc in Surveying Science, both from Newcastle University.
