Michael Jia

Michael Jia, E.I.T., MEng, is an electrical engineer with a strong background in engineering solutions for temperature maintenance and electrical systems. Currently serving as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training at GN2 Engineering since July 2022, Michael previously held the position of Electrical Designer at MSCP Heat Management Solutions, where responsibilities included engineering freeze protection systems and conducting various analyses related to electrical load and equipment sizing. Experience also encompasses a co-op role in Reliability Engineering at CNOOC International, managing numerous Management of Change projects, and a summer position at Syncrude Canada Ltd. Michael holds a Master of Engineering degree in Energy Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Alberta.
