Cosimo Cecchi

Cosimo Cecchi is an experienced software engineering manager currently at Apple since September 2019. Cosimo has a long-standing involvement with the GNOME Foundation, serving as a member and director since February 2008. Prior roles include co-founding Hack Computer as CTO, and holding various positions at Endless, Inc. including VP of Ecosystem Engineering and Director of Core Engineering from April 2013 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes software engineering at Red Hat and development roles at Magenta srl and Collabora Ltd. Cosimo's educational background includes a degree from Università degli Studi di Firenze, completed in 2009, following studies at Liceo Scientifico "N. Copernico" in Prato.
