Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia is an experienced Linux Distribution Engineer and Python Specialist at SUSE since September 2022, where responsibilities include maintaining Python packages for SUSE Linux distributions. As a member and contributor of the GNOME Foundation since December 2017, Daniel serves as the maintainer for Fractal, Translation Editor, and libgepub, while also mentoring in the Google Summer of Code. Prior to SUSE, Daniel held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Endless, contributing to the Hack Computer project and developing the Endless Key application. Daniel's extensive background includes roles such as Software Engineer at Hack Computer and Computer Engineer at wadobo, coupled with earlier positions focused on Django web applications and Linux distributions. Daniel holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Sevilla and previously studied at Universidad de Granada.
