Manuel Haro

Manuel Haro serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Bolsa del Arte since August 2024 and President of the Fundación para el Desarrollo Digital y Conocimiento Abierto since January 2023, which focuses on fostering open-source innovation in Mexico and Latin America. In addition, Manuel is a Professor Researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, teaching various computing topics since June 1991, and is actively involved with the GNOME Foundation as a community member and local team coordinator for GUADEC 2022. Manuel also plays a significant role in ICP HUB México, leading academic communities for technological development. Previous positions include Coordination of Intel's Innovation Laboratories and co-founding Near Hispano for decentralized project development. Manuel holds a specialty in Networks and Telecommunications from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Zacatecas.
