Og MacIel

Og Maciel is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Red Hat since December 2011, where the focus is on extending the open hybrid cloud experience to edge computing. Maciel has held several roles within Red Hat, including Director of Quality Engineering, Management and Automation, overseeing various Quality Engineering teams for key products such as Red Hat Ansible and Satellite. Previous positions at Red Hat involved building elite teams and implementing testing strategies, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and customer-driven releases. Og is also an active member and Board member of the GNOME Foundation, contributing to the development of free software projects, and has prior experience at organizations like rPath and NYCSCA. Maciel holds a BS in Biochemistry from Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus.
