Robert Ancell

Robert Ancell is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Canonical Ltd. since March 2009, where responsibilities include updating software in Ubuntu archives and leading the Mir project. Ancell also contributes as a volunteer at Code Club Aotearoa, teaching coding to children, and is a member of both the GNOME Foundation and The X.Org Foundation. Previous roles encompass various engineering positions at NASDAQ OMX, RTA, Tyco Integrated Systems, and Tait Electronics Ltd., with notable expertise in software development, system infrastructure, and digital technology.
