GO Foundation
Nora C. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Fellow Experience Coordinator at GO Tutor Corps since September 2023. Prior to this role, Nora held various positions at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School from August 2019 to September 2023, including Recruitment Associate, Fellow Lead, and Social Media Assistant. This experience involved conducting phone screens for educational roles, coordinating interviews, and mentoring first-year tutors. Additionally, Nora worked as a Healing & Well-being Consultant and Graduate Intern Specialist with Student Success Network, and served as a Counselor at NYU Langone Health, where leadership was demonstrated in establishing an Art Design club. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Loyola University New Orleans.
GO Foundation
The GO Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission of preparing students for college success through high-dosage tutoring. By design, GO's partner schools contribute to the vitality of the urban neighborhoods where they are located by attracting and creating social, human and investment capital. What sets GO's partner schools apart from others is a high-dosage tutoring model, which is delivered through the GO Fellowship, a selective cadre of recent college graduates who deliver at least two hours of individualized instruction to every student every day. The GO Foundation has successfully replicated this program in Newark, NJ, Bridgeport, CT, New York, NY, and Washington D.C.
