Barbara Azzopardi

Barbara Azzopardi has extensive work experience spanning over 16 years. Barbara has held various finance-related roles in different companies.

Starting in 2003, they worked as the VP Exchange at AIESEC in Italy for a year. In 2004, they joined KPMG Audit as a Senior Manager, where they stayed until 2012.

In 2012, Barbara moved on to Premier Capital plc, where they worked as the Internal Audit and Finance Manager until 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Director of Finance at Carmelo Caruana Company Limited, Hili Ventures.

In 2015, they became the CFO at Hili Company Limited and retained the position until 2016, when they transitioned to become the Director of Finance at Hili Ventures Limited.

Barbara'snext step was working as the Financial Controller at Ricston Ltd from 2017 until 2018.

In 2018, they joined KPMG Malta as an Associate Director but left in 2019.

Barbara'smost recent role, which they currently hold, is the CFO of Alf. Mizzi & Sons (Marketing) Group since May 2019.

Barbara Azzopardi completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy Honours from the University of Malta from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended St Aloysius College from 1996 to 1998, and St Joseph School, Blata l-Bajda from 1984 to 1996. No specific degree or field of study is provided for their time at St Aloysius College and St Joseph School.
