Suresh Thiru

Suresh Thiru is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the online recruitment and technology sectors. Currently serving as General Partner at 1337 Capital since January 2024, Suresh also plays a pivotal role as Advisor for Asia at Go1, focusing on the company's expansion in Southeast Asia. Previously, Suresh held the position of CEO Asia at SEEK from 2015 to 2020, leading the growth of JobStreet and jobsDB in online recruitment across the region, while significantly enhancing sales, marketing, and customer loyalty. Prior to this, Suresh served as COO for both JobStreet and jobsDB during their merger, and brought valuable experience as Chief Operating Officer at JobStreet.com for 14 years, where Suresh contributed to its rise as the leading jobsite in Southeast Asia. Suresh's career began in network operations at Maxis from 1994 to 1999, and Suresh holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
