Monique Herbert

Monique Herbert, MA.Ed, CSM, is a content developer at Goalbook, where responsibilities include creating original, evidence-based content and enhancing it through proofreading and editing since April 2023. As the owner and project manager of the New Orleans Natural Hair Expo since October 2013, Monique oversees the planning and execution of the event, ensuring professionalism and timeliness. Previous roles include serving as an educational assessment project manager at Magnolia ISD and New Caney Independent School District, where Monique led cross-functional teams to implement data-driven projects that improved student outcomes. Monique also held similar positions at Klein ISD and Houston ISD, focusing on educational assessment and special education program optimization. Monique began a career in education as a 3rd grade level chair and teacher at KIPP Houston Public Schools, emphasizing lesson planning and classroom management. Monique holds a Master of Arts in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
