David M. has over 21 years of work experience in various roles. David began their career in 1999 as a Customer Service Advisor at Sears Holdings Corporation. David then moved up to become an Associate Buyer-DieHard Batteries, Auto Center Manager/Assistant Store Manager, and Strategic Pricing Manager. In 2008, they joined Weatherford as a Marketing Operations Manager and Creative Director, Global Marketing Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Associate Project Manager. In 2017, they became a Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing--Southeast Asia at United Technologies. Most recently, in 2020, they joined GOARC as the Director of Customer Success, APAC. In this role, they are responsible for the successful deployment, adoption, and growth of the GOARC enterprise Safety Software platform in SMEs and MNCs across Asia Pacific. Additionally, they have also worked as a Senior Advisor, Digital Strategy at Raffles Legacy Learning, where they managed the strategy, design, and development of the online learning platform.
David M. has a diverse educational background. David obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University in 2002, with a major in Painting. David then went on to earn a Masters of Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005, with an integrated study in Business, Design, and Engineering. In addition, they have obtained a variety of certifications, including Managing an Agile Team and Testing with Agile from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2017, Getting Started: Agile Meets Design Thinking from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2017, Managing Social and Human Capital from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, Running Product Design Sprints from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2017, R Programming from The Johns Hopkins University in 2014, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from The Johns Hopkins University in 2014, An Introduction to Operations Management from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in 2011.
