Bento

Bento’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all Americans. We are a Social Determinants of Health SMS text messaging platform that connects people experiencing food insecurity with nutritious meals from local restaurants and grocery stores. Bento uses our platform to connect marginalized and under-resourced people with nutritious, stigma-free meals from nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We then further engage participants through this trusted communication channel to identify and address additional needs by connecting them to existing resources like transportation, chronic disease management programs, job training, and other wraparound services to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
