Robert Baldwin

Robert Baldwin has an extensive background in the financial industry, having worked for companies like Visa, First Data Corporation, and Market Platform Dynamics. Robert currently serves as a board member for Boomtown, and previously held the position of Chief Development Officer at Monitise.

Baldwin began their career in 1993 as an associate for Windermere Associates. Robert then spent four years at First Data Corporation, where they eventually became the Director of Strategy and Market Development. In 1999, they joined Visa as the Executive Vice President of Product Innovation and Development. During their time at Visa, Baldwin was responsible for growing the company's new businesses in digital payments, marketing, and information solutions. Robert was also part of the IPO Roadshow team for Visa Inc's IPO in 2008.

After 11 years at Visa, Baldwin left to become a Partner and Managing Director at Market Platform Dynamics. Robert then spent two years as the Global Head of Strategy, Corporate Development & Digital Innovation at Blackhawk Network. In 2014, they joined Monitise as the Chief Development Officer. Monitise was acquired by Fiserv in September 2017.

Baldwin has been a board member at Boomtown since 2018.

Robert Baldwin has a MA in Literature from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in English/Literature from The University of Alabama.
