Andrea Phrydas

Andrea Phrydas has extensive work experience in credit risk analysis and management. Andrea currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Credit Risk at GoCardless, a role they started in November 2021. Prior to their current role, Andrea served as the Credit Risk Manager at GoCardless from January to December 2021. Before joining GoCardless, they worked at Oakam Ltd as a Risk Manager from June 2018 to August 2019. Andrea also gained valuable experience as a Credit Risk Analyst at Worldpay from August 2017 to June 2018, and at Argyll Covenant Advisory from January 2016 to June 2017. Andrea began their career in 2004 as an Intern at Bank of Cyprus. In addition to their credit risk background, Andrea also co-founded and served as Director of From The Land, a healthy food business, from June 2018 to present.

Andrea Phrydas began their education at Ashmole Academy, where they completed high school from 2000 to 2007. Andrea then went on to the University of Hertfordshire from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Business Accounting, specializing in Finance. After that, Andrea attended the University of Kent from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a First Class Master of Science degree in Financial Markets. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in Online Content and Blogging from Made Simple in May 2015, and in November 2013, they passed the Bloomberg Institute Assessment Test (BAT) offered by Bloomberg LP.
