Arif Islam

Arif Islam's work experience begins in 2011 as a Customer Assistant at Paperchase. In 2011, they also worked as an Events Representative at the Students' Union of Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2012, Arif worked as a Fundraiser at Royal Holloway, University of London. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Associate at EY. In 2018, Arif joined BBC Studios as a Commercial Finance Analyst, later moving on to become a Finance Business Partner (Manager) for various departments within the company. In 2021, they joined Bulb as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Most recently, in 2022, Arif started working as a Product Business Partner at GoCardless.

Arif Islam began their education journey by attending St Marylebone School from 2008 to 2010. Arif focused on A Level subjects such as Mathematics, Economics, and Psychology during this time. Following their completion at St Marylebone School, Arif enrolled in Royal Holloway, University of London, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at ICAEW from 2014 to 2016, where they achieved an ACA degree. In 2018, Arif joined City, University of London to gain expertise in SQL and relational databases with Oracle through short-term courses.
