Kamila McWilliam

Kamila McWilliam has over 14 years of work experience in the financial industry. Kamila currently holds the position of VP, Head of Corporate Development at GoCardless since March 2023. Previously, they worked at PPRO as VP, Head of Corporate Development from September 2021 to February 2023. Before that, Kamila was at Barclays, where they served as Director M&A / Corporate Development from April 2019 to September 2021. In 2017, they took on the role of Director, Head of Partnerships & Experimentation, Mobile Payments at Barclays for a year. Prior to that, Kamila worked as the Commercial Director for Pingit at Barclays from October 2013 to April 2016, where they were responsible for the strategic roadmap, feature development, and commercial planning of the product. Kamila also collaborated with other teams to drive scale and customer adoption. Kamila began their career at Barclays Capital in 2007 as an Associate in Corporate Finance Technology EMEA and held that role until November 2011. From November 2011 to October 2013, they worked as Vice President, M&A Origination at Barclaycard. Throughout their career, Kamila has gained extensive experience in M&A, corporate development, partnerships, and digital payments.

Kamila McWilliam attended Dartmouth College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs and Economics.
