Olly Lyons

Olly Lyons has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. In 2015, they started as an Officer Cadet in the Northumbrian Universities Air Squadron of the Royal Air Force (RAF). In 2016, they co-founded Syndikat Events, a student-based music event, where they managed and expanded the business. From 2016 to 2021, Olly worked at 94 LEGAL, starting as an Associate Legal Consultant and progressing to Head of Legal - UK & Europe. In 2021, they joined GoCardless as a Payments Specialist, Corporate, UK & I, focusing on helping businesses optimize their payment processes. Olly then transitioned to the role of Payments Specialist, Partnerships, UK & I, where they worked with strategic partners to promote integration with GoCardless services. Currently, they are a Growth Manager - Affiliates at GoCardless, responsible for driving affiliate growth and contributing to the company's overall success. Additionally, Olly was also a Community Member at SDRs of London from March 2022 to July 2023.

Olly Lyons completed their Bachelor's Degree in History from Newcastle University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended The King's (The Cathedral) School in Peterborough from 2012 to 2014 and Catmose College from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Olly obtained a certification in the MEDDPICC Masterclass from MEDDICC in January 2023.
