Peter Sharp

Peter Sharp has a strong background in financial control and reporting. Peter currently holds the role of VP Financial Control and Reporting at GoCardless since February 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at Interoute from June 2016 to May 2018. Peter also served as the Director of Financial Control and Reporting at Interoute from January 2009 to May 2016, and as a Finance Manager from November 2006 to January 2009.

Before their tenure at Interoute, Peter worked as a Group Accountant at Rexam PLC, where they were responsible for areas of the group management accounts and assisted in the preparation of annual and interim financial statements from August 2004 to October 2006.

Prior to Rexam PLC, Peter worked as a Financial Accountant at GE Life from August 2002 to August 2004. Peter started their career as a Management Accountant at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where they worked from September 1999 to August 2002.

Peter Sharp completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the University of East Anglia, attending from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained an ACMA degree in the field of Associate Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from BPP University, attending from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Peter has obtained a certification in CIMA, although specific details regarding the institution and date of attainment are not provided.
