Michael Allen is a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer currently at Consensus since April 2024, following a tenure as Principal DevOps Engineer at Oracle from April 2018 to April 2024, where leadership was demonstrated in automating cloud infrastructure deployment and providing production support. Prior to Oracle, Michael spent nearly 18 years at Xilinx in various roles, including DevOps Infrastructure Architect and Software Development Manager, focusing on defining architecture specifications and optimizing workflows for global compute farms. Early in professional development, Michael served as a CU-PREP Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado and as an NRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, both positions involving significant research in astrophysics using Far-Infrared lasers. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Fort Lewis College.
