Are Traasdahl is the founder and CEO of Crisp, a marketing technology firm. Are has more than 15 years of experience in mobile and digital content, and is a frequent contributor on mobile advertising technology for outlets such as CNBC and Bloomberg News. Are has been featured in Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Ad Age, and other major news outlets. In 2013, they were named one of Business Insider's "Most Important People in Mobile Advertising."

Prior to founding Crisp, Traasdahl was the CEO and founder of Thumbplay, a mobile entertainment service that grew to more than $100 million in revenues in less than three years before they exited the company. Are was previously a senior executive with Telenor Group, an international provider of telecom, data and media communications services.

Tapad is based in New York and has offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco.

Are Traasdahl attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they earned a degree in engineering.
