Rick Roty is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at GoDaddy.com since May 2006, Rick is responsible for major projects, including Microsoft 365 and OpenXchange setup, provisioning, and migrations. Previously, Rick held significant positions at the University of Phoenix Online as a Software Architect/Lead Engineer during a period of rapid growth, and as President/Principal Owner at Roty Consulting, managing teams to develop applications for various clients. Earlier experience includes serving as VP of Software Engineering at Gladson Interactive, where Rick established the IT department and led the development of web-based applications. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, and Mathematics from Northern Illinois University.
