Max Chang has a diverse work experience in various companies. Max started their career as a Product Engineer at Chroma ATE Inc. in 2001, where they focused on yield improvement and cost optimization. Max then worked as a Process Engineer at Huatone Electronics Co., Ltd. from 2002 to 2003. After that, they served as a Field Application Engineer at FunTech Co., Ltd. from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, Max joined LITE-ON as a Senior Electrical Engineer, specializing in smartphone CMOS sensor hardware design and factory automation. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at International Games System Co., Ltd. as a Supervisor, focusing on amusement with prize hardware development.

From 2017 to 2019, Max worked as a Hardware Manager at ApexMarine Automation Co., Ltd., overseeing the design and integration of marine automation systems. Max is currently working as the Chief Electrical Engineer at Gogoro, primarily focusing on electric vehicle Electronic Control Unit (ECU) design and concept model design.

Max Chang obtained their B.S. degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from National Kaohsiung Marine University between 2002 and 2005.
