Mike Splinter

Mike Splinter serves as a board member for Gogoro and TSMC, while also holding the position of lead director at Nasdaq since May 2008. As a general partner at WISC Partners since December 2015, experience includes a significant tenure as chairman and CEO of Applied Materials from 2003 until December 2015, and as executive vice president at Intel Corporation from 1984 to 2003. Early career roles included fab manager at Rockwell Semiconductor from 1974 to 1984. Academically, Mike Splinter earned an honorary PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 1974, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
