Shiv Kumar

Shiv Kumar is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in flight operations and training. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector at DGCA India since September 2021, Shiv also holds the position of Designated Examiner at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) since June 2019. Prior roles include Director of Flight Operations at Himalaya Airlines and TRE A320 at Go Air, where Shiv contributed as Chief Pilot Quality and Standards and Director Training Flight Ops. Beginning a career at Kingfisher Airlines as a Line Captain/TRE, Shiv's educational background includes a Master of Science from Anna University Chennai, a Diploma in Journalism and Advertising from Gauhati University, a Bachelor of Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, a PG Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, and a Bachelor of Laws from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
